EXCELL today introduced a next-generation Batching and Checkweighing conroller and indicator, 150S, a single weigher, multiple ingredient, weigh controller that may be used in a variety of weighing, flow metering and batch processing applications.

"EXCELL 150S indicator is priced lower than competitive models, and it contained up to eight configurable outputs that allow for manually added ingredients," said C.C. Lo, President and CEO at EXCELL. "With 150S, users are able to run up to eight different recipes, depending on what batch size they need. Plus, the recipes are easy to configure and adjust using our e-program provided."
 
"150S indicator can store multiple recipes directly in the indicator and perform process control for weighing applications, with no PLC required. In addition, the 150S's totalizing feature tracks and prints the running totals of each weighing transaction, allowing users to see and manage all data directly on screen. With this robust feature, users can monitor how much of each ingredient is used in their batches of treatments - a benefit for both the company and its customers," said Jeff Chien, Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing at EXCELL.
 
EXCELL 150S offers the flexibility of high accuracy automatic ingredient weighing, metering and discharge, along with configurable timer/interlock functions for control of mixing, heating and other process operations from a single weigh controller. Operating from stored recipe data selected through its front panel or from a supervisory PLC or PC system.
 
The feature of 150S Batching and Checkweighing Indicator includefast sampling speed for checkweighing application; HI/OK/LO comparator lights with buzzer; 100 sets of target and tare can be stored with individual code number; Standard current loop output and standard RS-485/RS-232; full digital calibration; selectable I/O terminals; bright red LED 7 segment display with 16mm digits.
